Brandt
Shwayder, LEED AP brandt@rowlandbroughton.com Brandt was raised in Virginia but has always had family ties in Colorado. Looking forward to returning to his family’s western roots, he attended the University of Colorado where he received both Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Masters in Architecture degrees, graduating with highest honors. Brandt has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of architectural project types within Colorado and abroad, including single and multi-family residential, commercial and tenant improvement, education, and hospitality projects. Travel is of great interest to Brandt, as he has studied drawing and architectural history in Rome, Italy, and has worked in Baden, Switzerland in close collaboration with his former University of Colorado professor Philippe Barman. Working in Switzerland afforded Brandt the opportunity to design and model several high-profile competition entries for architecture in Europe, including a new art museum for Lausanne and a landmark for Paris’ 2012 Olympic bid. Brandt’s collaborative work in concert with Philippe Barman has been featured in numerous publications and has been exhibited at the 2004 Swiss Art Awards in Basel, Switzerland and at the Pavillion de l’Arsenal in Paris, France. Brandt comes to Rowland+Broughton bringing his extensive computer modeling, rendering, and visualization skills as well as his passion for design and detail. He achieved LEED Accredited Professional status in 2009. |
