Jason
Goldberg jason@rowlandbroughton.com Jason Goldberg began his tenure in hospitality/spa development and the design industry in 1996 with the development company that brought Outrigger Resorts Hawaii to Guam, Micronesia. After completing the Outrigger Guam Resort project, Jason began providing development and design services to property developers within the Micronesian region. Seizing an opportunity, Jason offered his services as a local representative for Mandara Spa, tasked with coordinating and implementing all aspects of the spa’s design with Mandara’s lead architect and designer. Through this seven year relationship with Mandara Spa, Jason was able to hone his skills in design, manufacturing, sourcing, and project management. Originally from Colorado, Jason returned to the state after a ten year absence to establish his design career in the mainland. A passion for architecture and design brought Jason to Rowland+Broughton to develop and assist in the leadership of the firm’s hospitality division. Since 2005, Jason has completed work on three restaurants and three hotel renovations. Receiving awards for two of the restaurants, and a Condo/Hotel project, as well as bringing hospitality lifestyle elements to Rowland+Broughton’s residential projects. Jason has recently been selected by the editors of Hospitality Design Magazine for their 2009 Wave of the Future. The collection of 6 international designers who are young enough to be considered visionary, but tested enough to be considered accomplished, will share their insight on a panel at the 2009 Hospitality Design Boutique Exposition & Conference (HD Boutique) in Miami.
