  Jet Pets Boutique
DIA Concourse B, Mezzanine Level
Denver, Colorado
Size: 1,057 square feet
Completion Date: Spring 2009

Denver’s stylish jet setters were missing a hotspot to grab trendy wares for their pets at Denver International Airport, and the new Jet Pets Boutique is perfect for gifts on the go. The boutique is a fun backyard with a mix of faux grass and earthy pebble carpeting. Existing elements were reused for an economical design, while new chain link fencing and reclaimed barn wood create feature areas and complement the light oak display fixtures. A new durable concrete countertop on the existing millwork cash wrap gives the backyard an urban edge. The mix of fixtures enhances the eclectic feel. At the entry, fun accents like a dog house, a fire hydrant, and a custom “dog bone” shaped display provide a colorful setting for a backyard shopping spree!

Sustainable components of the project include:
Reclaimed barn wood
Low VOC paint
Broadloom carpet is Green Label certified for indoor air quality by the Carpet & Rug Institute
Concrete countertops
