  A Massage
DIA Concourse B, Mezzanine Level
Denver, Colorado
Size: 1,060 SF
Completion Date: September 2008

An existing tenant renovation gives a much-needed expansion and facelift to A Massage, a well-known rest stop in the B Concourse for savvy DIA travelers. The design calls for a serene spa aesthetic where customers can relax to receive back and full body massage, and also stock up on spa essentials. A screen defining the entrance signifies tranquility, with thatch reeds encapsulated in resin and a texture resembling rain drops. Bamboo flooring pairs with textured wall covering to lend the warmth of natural materials. The soft colors of the new paint scheme are further enhanced by soft-lit wall sconces at each massage station, creating a refuge within the bustling concourse.

Sustainable components of the project include:
Acoustical ceiling tile with 65% recycled content
Bamboo flooring, a renewable resource
3-Form eco-resin panel contains 40% recycled content and is GreenGuard indoor air quality certified
