Originally from the Washington D.C. metro area, Maureen has called Colorado home for 14 years. After receiving her B.A. in International Studies from West Virginia University she migrated west to Boulder, Colorado. Her introduction into Marketing came from McStain Enterprises, renowned pioneers in the Green Building movement. There she received an in-depth education in marketing real estate development, residential construction and sustainable building practices. Under her guidance she created and managed a Corporate Giving Program which gave 1% of the organizations’ profits to eligible non-profits.

Eager to expand her marketing knowledge into resort development and experience the Colorado High Country, Maureen accepted a Marketing position with Vail Resorts Development Company in Breckenridge, Colorado. While working for VRDC Maureen successfully marketed, Mountain Thunder Lodge a signature ski-in/ski-out condominium property, the inaugural development for VRDC in Summit County. Maureen also marketed projects in Vail, Beaver Creek and Jackson Hole, WY, as well as led the redevelopment and launch of the VRDC website.

In 2002, opportunities in Metro Denver motivated the move back to urban life. Maureen served as the Director of Marketing for a Real Estate Sales and Marketing Consulting firm, directing the marketing efforts for real estate projects in Lowry, Stapleton and various other Metro Denver communities. Her ability to determine market needs, successfully launch new communities and create brand awareness led Maureen to accept a position with Woodcrest Homes, a Colorado-based production homebuilder. There she directed new product development for The Legends at Vista Ridge, a golf-course residential product series; conducting market research, project management and marketing the community. During the two years with Woodcrest Homes Maureen launched seven new home communities in Metro Denver which served to position the company as an industry leader in the region.

Reacting to the market demand for urban infill development in 2005 Maureen started a consulting business providing marketing and public relations services to small real estate developers and homebuilders. This provided her the opportunity to expand her passion for marketing, grow her product knowledge and establish herself as a marketing leader in the community. She collaborated on a variety of projects including infill development in Downtown Denver, Dry Creek Crossing, a Transit-Oriented Development in the Denver Tech Center and a multi-family development in Gillette, Wyoming. Maureen is a member of the Urban Land Institute Colorado Council and a volunteer with the Denver Dumb Friends League.

As Marketing/Business Development Manager for R+B, Maureen will manage the functions of marketing and public relations in order to meet and exceed the overall company goals including creating greater brand awareness for the firm.
