Nick
Jitdet Ketpura, LEED AP nick@rowlandbroughton.com Born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in Southern California, Nick didn’t go far to study architecture at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a professional degree in 2006. During the middle of his architectural education, a winning design submission with Jeffrey Berkus Architects, Inc. for a new conference center for the Aspen Institute sent Nick to Aspen, Colorado. There he served as junior designer and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design coordinator for the first LEED Gold Rated building in Colorado’s Western Slope. With the experience gained from working with the United States Green Building Council on the conference center for the Aspen Institute, Nick eagerly implemented green and sustainable ideas into other projects for BBG Architects/Jeffery Berkus Architects, Inc. (Newport Beach, California and Aspen, Colorado) including: • Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club – development and design of several cottages, sports club and spa components throughout the award winning master planned community. • National Association of Home Builders 2009 Show Home – schematic design for a show home that will contain the latest green/sustainable building techniques and products on the market. Nick joined the Rowland+Broughton Team in October of 2007. He is excited to apply his interest in the collaborative efforts of art and architecture and his expertise in sustainable design to their projects, and is currently working on a 52 acre site that will be redeveloped as a single family homestead. Nick is an active member of the American Institute of Architects as an associate member. |
