Designed and built for the client in 1971, this concrete mid-century modern home required extensive internal remodeling and environmental remediation.  Rowland + Broughton’s restoration returns the home to its former glory while upgrading for contemporary living.  Reconfiguration of four small bedrooms and baths into three larger guest suites as well as designing a new master bath layout for direct access to the master bedroom were included in the scope of design.  Other upgrades include new energy-efficient windows and mechanical systems, home automation and smart technologies, environmentally sensitive finishes, and custom millwork.
