Situated on the banks of the Sacramento River, Traehus (Danish for tree house) is surrounded by a multitude of large oak trees. This 1940’s ranch house will be completely remodeled and expanded for its current 3,600 footprint to 7,000 square feet to accommodate the clients desire for “resort living”. New interior materials will feature low maintenance metal siding and roofing contrasted with accents of wood siding. The existing landscape will be rejuvenated with multiple indoor/outdoor connections including; varying terraces, operable window walls, a water and fire feature as well as improvements to the pool.
