A Roaring Fork Valley resident for six years, Amanda Christianson has gained significant experience in contemporary, high-end custom residential architecture as well as modular construction and multifamily housing. After internships in Aspen, Indianapolis, and Ann Arbor, Amanda found herself full-time in the Roaring Fork Valley in Aspen, as a project manager. A LEED Accredited Professional since 2008, she has had the opportunity to evaluate clients’ green initiatives across the LEED Rating System early in the design process. She excels at the organization and coordination required within a multi-disciplinary team on large scale custom projects.

Amanda earned both a BS in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While earning her Master’s degree, Amanda was a graduate student instructor of Construction courses, mentored minority undergraduate architecture students, and participated on design studio juries with Michigan faculty. Her design work has received three academic honors and has been published twice in the school’s academic journal.  Upon graduation, Amanda was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal of Honor for professional service, leadership and academic merit.

Amanda joined Rowland+Broughton in August 2010, and is looking forward to contributing to the collaborative design environment. She brings with her seven years of professional experience with focus on detailing, construction administration and a unique combination of attention to detail and big-picture thinking.
