As an interior designer at Rowland+Broughton, Laura’s passion for design is backed with careful attention to the decisions required to design beautiful, healthy and functional spaces.  Current projects include Doubletree Hotel Durango, Woody Creek Distillery, Doubletree Hotel Missoula, Arbor Place Assisted Living, and the Limelight Lodge.

Originally from Alaska, Laura decided to pursue her interior design degree in Florida, and received a BFA in Interior Design with honors from Ringling College of Art and Design.  Her design experience in Florida included time with Carl Abbott FAIA Architect, a prominent Florida architect and member of the Sarasota School of Architecture.  Opportunities included residential, multi-family and assisted-living design, and church master planning.

Laura is NCIDQ certified, and is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), National Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH), and International Interior Design Association (IIDA).  She is also a board member for Women in Design Denver.
