With more than 17 years of experience, Scott utilizes his talent as a designer, his ability to manage project teams from inception to conclusion and integrates them with his passion for sustainable practice. As project manager, his ability to listen, understand and interpret developmental programs enables project designs to respond directly to programmatic needs and visual desires of the project team. In practice he strives for creating sustainably aware and integrated architecture. When leading projects, he establishes conceptual directives, develops design concepts, and oversees document production & administration services. His range of projects include luxury/custom single family homes, multi-family custom condominiums, affordable housing condominiums/homes, various remodels and transportation projects located in winter and summer resort areas. His project work has been in many localities world-wide including Colorado, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Korea, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica while being based in the Roaring Fork Valley and Telluride.
Scott also brings practical experience into his work as contractor/builder after successfully completing and personally building his own home in Carbondale. He is also a volunteer and design consultant for the Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, College of Architecture & Urban Studies in Blacksburg, Virginia.
