A downtown Aspen ski in/ski out 1968 condominium functions as both an office for an architecture firm and a home for R+B’s two partners. The space has been completely remodeled to reflect a modern lifestyle. Recessed lighting coffers were strategically placed between joists in the ceiling throughout the public areas to give the illusion of height and imply spaciousness. Custom cherry millwork maximizes storage while becoming a segue between the kitchen and workstations.
