The renovation of this house provided a solution to the unresolved roof line which compromised the interior spaces. This family with four children, wanted to ‘clean-up’ the upper level rooms. A full redesign of the upper level created a rational roof line that translates into properly proportioned interior spaces. Window openings have been expanded to take advantage of the numerous mountain views. Custom structural trusses support the roof framing and define the great room’s axis.
