  Sneaky’s Tavern
Snowmass, Colorado
Size: 5,326 square feet
Completion Date: November 2008

Colorado ASID, 2009 Interior Design Award - Hospitality under 10,000 square feet

2009 Silver Hard Hat Award - Colorado Construction Magazine

Sneaky’s Tavern serves up year-round hospitality at its slope-side location in the new Snowmass Base Village. The design converts the raw core shell space into a modern American tavern owned and operated by Aspen Skiing Company. Strong indoor/outdoor connections are designed with sliding storefront windows at the bar which open to a large outdoor terrace. The casual “living room-like” lounge at the front of the restaurant is a local’s favorite for après ski. A catering kitchen on the lower level services large 300+ person banquettes and conferences while a main level private dining space with fireplace and flat screen television hosts more intimate events.

Sustainable components of the project include:
Reclaimed antique oak flooring
CRI Green Label Plus certified carpeting
Custom table tops fabricated from reclaimed antique oak planks, produced locally
Greenguard Certified leather on loose seating
Seating upholstery woven from 80% post industrial recycled polyester
FSC wood chair frames
Greenguard Certified engineered quartz solid surfacing
Energy efficient lighting
Greenguard Certified resin panels with 40% post-industrial content
Cork/rubber flooring with recycled and renewable content
Low VOC paint
Electronic sensor lavatory faucets and 1.4 gallon flush toilets used in bathrooms
