Scott McHale has over two decades of experience in the field of architecture and design. His ability to listen, understand and interpret complex situations has enabled him to successfully execute designs which respond directly to the distinct programmatic needs and aesthetic goals of a wide variety of projects. Scott’s ability to manage project teams from inception to conclusion has produced an impressive collection of completed projects characterized by sustainably aware and integrated architecture. His vast experience allows him to efficiently oversee the entire project process, including establishing and developing conceptual directives, incorporating and implementing design concepts, final oversight and quality control of document production through to contract administration services.
Scott is a Senior Project Manager in Rowland+Broughton’s Aspen studio. His range of projects includes luxury and custom single-family homes, multifamily custom condominiums, affordable housing projects, and infrastructure and transportation projects. Notable among his portfolio are Aspen’s Limelight/Monarch Residences, Der Berghof Condominiums, Victorian Square and The Gant Conference Center. Coupled with his previous work at CCY Architects, Scott has designed and managed projects in resort areas throughout Colorado, as well as Virginia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Korea, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Scott also has practical experience as a contractor and builder after personally constructing and successfully completing his own home in Carbondale, Colorado.
Scott is from Falls, Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1992 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, College of Architecture and Urban Studies in Blacksburg, Virginia.prev / next
