Residential – Condo and Loft
Size: 1,900 SF
The goal behind the architecture and interior design of this mountain home was to create a place of respite for a very busy businessman who travels 300 days out of the year. Removing the winder stair to clean up access to the bedroom level, improving kitchen size and functionality, and increasing natural lighting has provided a place where he can escape his hectic lifestyle and pursue his interests on rare days off.
Specified lighting, insulation preferences, white oak floors and doors, walnut built-ins, organic furniture mixed in with clean millwork lines and room geometries were just some of the ways R+B catered to the client’s conscious impact on the environment. The client has taken thousands of photos during his travels and approximately 100 of them are displayed on the walls of this home.
