Olivia Klotz has over 7 years of experience in the field of architecture and is currently working as an Architectural Designer with Rowland+Broughton in our Aspen studio. She brings with her a diverse portfolio of commercial and workplace projects as well as educational training and volunteering in countries abroad.
Olivia grew up in a suburb of Chicago and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. It was here that she was able to study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark for a semester through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Olivia worked with DLA Architects in Itasca, IL and Baumann Studios in Chicago, IL before moving to Colorado in 2014 where she worked for EUA Architects (formerly BurkettDesign) in Denver, CO. Prior to starting with R+B in 2019, she decided to take a year sabbatical to peruse her love for travel, the outdoors, and volunteering abroad. In May of 2019 she volunteered with Build Abroad, a sustainable build program, where she helped renovate a preschool school in Cusco, Peru.
Olivia is a team player and an active contributor. She has performed the roles of both a leader as well as executing collaborative efforts as a team and strongly values long-lasting relationships. She is skillful in developing conceptual studies in addition to seeing through to the physical construction of a space; being proficient in managing multiple schedules, projects, and deadlines in an organized and timely manner. She looks forward to being given the challenge to integrate these skills in a new capacity at R+B.prev
