Olivia Mathis is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s School of Architecture and Interior Design – earning a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Olivia was the president of UC’s chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and she was awarded the overall Outstanding Interior Design Student of her undergraduate class.
Throughout her schooling, Olivia completed several professional internships in the cities of Cincinnati, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. These internships allowed for Olivia to grow both personally and professionally, enabling her love for travel, while giving her room to explore the sectors of residential, hospitality, and workplace design.
Olivia’s passion for Interior Design stems from her years of working as a floral and event designer. By designing and executing upscale weddings and galas, she recognizes the direct impact of intentional design on its users; as interior space becomes the medium to hold memories and meaningful conversation. This idea, along with the principles of adaptive reuse and interior urbanism, became design drivers of her school studio projects.
Originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Olivia is excited to take on all the adventures Colorado has to offer. Outside of the office, you can find her hiking, at a cycling class, reading, or cooking for friends.prev
