Leadership in Action | Will Otte, AIA, Leed AP BD+C, Appointed to AIA Colorado Board
ASPEN, CO — December 3, 2025 — We’re pleased to share a special moment of recognition within the R+B team: Principal Will Otte, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been appointed as West Director on the AIA Colorado 2026 Board of Directors. The announcement was made at the 2025 Practice + Design Conference, held at the Keystone Conference Center, where more than 500 AIA members and industry professionals gathered to celebrate the vitality of Colorado’s architecture community.
A licensed architect and respected thought leader, Will brings a deep understanding of mountain town architecture and the regulatory frameworks that influence it. His pivotal role in the recent rewrite of the City of Aspen Land Use Code is just one example of his ability to navigate complex planning challenges and develop sustainable, future-forward solutions.
“It’s a privilege to represent the Western region on the AIA Colorado Board,” Will shares. “I look forward to serving the community of architects and contributing to a shared vision of our profession’s future.”

Will Otte is a Principal at Rowland+Broughton Architecture and Interior Design, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. His work encompasses civic, residential, and commercial design, with a focus on sustainability, land-use strategy, and mentorship within the profession.
