Yes, R+B provides comprehensive design for many of our projects. Both professionals sit side-by-side in our studio, so coordination and expertise sharing are fluid. Often, we are hired to do both services for our clients, which brings a more united level of design vision and clarity. Sometimes we are asked to provide just one of those roles, which is fun for us too as we get to collaborate with other professions. You will often find our design teams in Milan, New York and other great design focused cities researching furniture, lighting, fabricators, art, and artists.
R+B has a very efficient design process. Before jumping into any design work, we conduct thorough interview with the client, visit and analyze the site. In addition, we research and confirm the jurisdiction zoning and building codes, land use entitlement procedures, and HOA requirements. Immediately after we engage in conceptual design that include program floor plan diagrams, hand sketching, 3D modeling, virtual reality and physical models. R+B inspiration comes nature, art, culture, and travel. Throughout the duration of a project, we deliver a high level of communication that includes frequent client meetings to review progress and weekly Friday client email updates.
