We’re honored to be featured in the March 2026 issue of Denver Life Magazine, where writer Lacy Morris takes a closer look at one of our most personal renovation projects, a 1960s A-frame chalet nestled on a wooded lot in Aspen’s historic West End.

The story behind this home is one of stewardship. Our clients didn’t come to us wanting something new, they came wanting something better, while preserving the soul of what already existed. What followed was a careful process of listening to the architecture, honoring its history, and introducing thoughtful interventions that brought in more light, more ease, and more connection to the surrounding landscape.

Denver Life captures the spirit of the project beautifully, from the perforated steel dormers that became the renovation’s defining move, to the quiet, layered palette that keeps the A-frame’s geometry grounded and serene.
