ASPEN, CO — OCTOBER 15, 2020 — Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design is pleased to announce that Principal Sarah Broughton, AIA, NCIDQ, along with Studio Leaders Dana Ellis, AIA, and Amanda Christianson, AIA, are being featured in AIA Colorado’s “Women in Architecture” digital projection exhibit underway in downtown Denver.

Organized by AIA Colorado’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and in partnership with The Denver Theatre District, AIA Colorado is projecting faces of approximately 130 architects and the buildings they’ve helped design onto the Daniels & Fisher Clocktower via 100 projectors and 210,000 Lumens. The mission is to recognize the strong presence of women in the field of architecture, celebrate their contributions, inspire future architects, and change a culture through representation.

DETAILS: Tuesdays though Sundays, from dusk until 10p.m., until October 31. The exhibit may be viewed from the 16th Street Mall, with appropriate COVID protocol, including masks and social distancing. The video runs on a 20–minute loop.

Remote viewers may watch a free public livestream of the project on Friday, October, 16, at 8:00 p.m. https://youtu.be/xSf0hvPTDKQ. Post livestream, video will be viewable via the link as well.

About the exhibit, Broughton notes, “It’s an honor for Dana, Amanda and myself to be recognized along with this outstanding group of women in the architecture field and to represent Rowland+Broughton as a firm.
