ASPEN, CO — February 25, 2020 — Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members to our Aspen and Denver studios. Olivia Klotz joins as Architectural Designer in the Aspen studio, Macy Funk joins as Architectural Designer in the Denver studio, and Jamie Butemeyer joins as Studio Manager, Executive Assistant in the Aspen studio.

Olivia Klotz joins as Architectural Designer in Aspen. With seven years of experience in the field of architecture, she brings with her a diverse portfolio of commercial and workplace projects. Most recently, she was Project Architect at EUA Architects (formerly BurkettDesign) in Denver, where she master planned, designed and managed large and small-scale commercial interior projects. She is NCARB certified and a LEED Green Associate.

Originally from a Chicago suburb, Olivia earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Bolstering her architectural prowess, a year-long solo travel sabbatical prior to joining R+B provided the opportunity to volunteer in sustainable building and design with Build Abroad in Peru. She also backpacked over 2,000 miles of trails in 13 countries, mentoring and guiding younger hikers, climbers and travelers along the way.

Macy Funk joins as Architectural Designer in the Denver studio. In addition to experience working on custom residential and small commercial projects from pre-design through construction administration, she brings skills with architectural graphics and visualization techniques. Most recently, she worked as an architectural designer at Lubowicki Architecture in Denver.

A Colorado native, Macy received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning. A member of the American Institute of Architecture, she is currently working toward her NCARB certification. In addition to exploring the influence of design on the human experience, she has an affinity for water and enjoys spending time at area lakes.

Jamie Butemeyer joins as Studio Manager, Executive Assistant in the Aspen studio, bringing with her five years of creative administrative and business management experience, including as a studio manager at Shakti Studio in Aspen and an interior design assistant at Love Story Design in Boulder. She is also R+B’s official Director of Fun, following her passion for incorporating wellness into the workplace and curating positive employee experiences.

Originally from Oklahoma, Jamie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from The Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma. Weekends, she enjoys snowboarding, singing, and performing with local musicians.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented professionals to our R+B team in our Aspen headquarters and Denver LoDo studio,” shares R+B Director of Human Resources, Amy Wicklund. “A continuing influx of exciting projects that push great design calls for support teams with various skill sets to accommodate the needs of our amazing clients. Adding Olivia, Jamie, and Macy to our team reinforces our dedication to hiring and retaining top talent. Welcome all!”
