Todd Biekkola brings over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture and design. He has gained experience on a variety of projects, including luxury hospitality, historic preservation, libraries, interpretive centers and high end residential. His knowledge of the Planned Development requirements and process are important in keeping momentum through the course of application. Todd excels with leading large groups and coordinating complicated projects, including the Hotel Jerome Planned Development with the City of Aspen from 2013 through 2016.
He is currently spearheading the Project Quality Assurance program at the Huron Street Apartment Complex, a 5 story plus basement, 296 unit apartment building for the Alliance Partnership. He recently served as Architect of Record for a 6,500 sq ft luxury Aspen townhome remodel with included new MEP systems, interior layout revisions and coordinating with the Interior Designer. Todd also recently worked on a luxury estate compromising approximately 70+ buildings with scope paying particular attention to historic preservation.
Todd has also completed a combination of custom residential and public projects in the Vail Valley, including Hummingbird Condominium complex in Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek Colorado. While at MS&R, Ltd, he was a member of the project team for The Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This project received an AIA Honor Award, AIA Minnesota Honor Award and National Trust for Historic Preservation Honor Award.
Todd is a Project Manager and Studio Leader in Rowland+Broughton’s Denver office. He is currently working on a historic hospitality remodel on the Western Slope of Colorado.
A registered architect in the state of Colorado and Minnesota, he is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program.
Originally from Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Todd earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota.prev / next
